SHAFA-SULPHATRIM
Shafa-sulphatrem is combination of sulphadiazine and trimethoprim which are active against gram-negative and positive bacteria. Each substance individually is bacteriostatic but the result of their synergistic combination is bactericidal effect.
INDICATIONS:
Shafa-sulphatrim has a broad spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria specially E.coli
Haemophilus , salmonella and pasteurella.
Shafa-sulphatrim used for prevention and treatment of various infectious diseases as; Pasteurellosis , Colibacellosis , infectious coryza and salmonellosis in poultry and other animals.
DOSAGE:
Poultry:40 gm/200 liter of drinking water for 5 days.
Other animals : 1 gm / 15 Kg of body weight for 5 days.
WITHRAWAL PERIOD:
Don’t use animal product during treatment and within 5 days from the last treatment.
